I'm off to go rafting today.
Wouldn't it be fun to have a raft like this.
What a dreamy way to spend a day on the lake.

Taco Chilli

On Tuesday and I made a trade with Derek and his roommate, Jonah, if they let Michelle and I do laundry, we would make them dinner.
So I chose to make Taco Chilli from this recipe.
I actually the saw the chilli on pinterest and found its source so I could make it myself.
The first time I made it I didn't realize that it was a weight watchers meal but it is delicious so who cares.
It is a super easy recipe and I make it not so weight watchers by placing it on a tortilla with sour cream and cheese but that is okay with me.
Plus the boys seemed to really like it and we got our laundry done.

Snagit

I just got a free trial of Snagit. I'm not real sure how I feel about it yet but I guess that is the point of a 30 day trial. I will let you guys know my final decision. Otherwise here is my first Snagit project.

I'm so thankful that the sun has finally started to come out.
After all it is the end of June.
I don't like how cloudy and cold the mornings have been though.
This is outfit was inspired by the fact that it's cloudy in the morning and nice in the afternoon.

snack dinner

The other evening, Michelle and I had our neighbor Kelsey over for dinner.
We sat around our little table with bread, cheese, crackers, sausage, prosciutto, grapes,olives, carrots, and humus.
It was quite the feast.
Oh and we had lots of wine.
It was a fun evening that required no cooking.

These last couple of days have been so yucky.
It has been so cloudy here it doesn't even feel like Summer.
I was happy to see the sun come out for a little bit yesterday but it would be nice if it actually felt like Summer for more than six hours.
I decided that these pictures would have to do until the sun comes out for a while.

Vintage Patterns

I found these vintage children patterns and I think they are absolutely adorable.
I think it would be so much fun to frame them and put them in a baby's room.
Or even a bathroom would really cute.
I just think they are fun.
