Spring Term

There are a few things I hate about Spring term. 

First, the stupid people that dress like it's summer.  We are in OREGON! 

And it's only the end of March.  

There will be plenty of time to wear your shorts and minis come May.  

Today was the first day in forever that it actually even got to 60 degrees.  

Secondly, I hate how people's IQ seem to drop since the sun has come out.  

Just cause it is sunny does not mean to hoard in the walkways on campus!  

I'm all for being outside when it is sunny but don't stop to talk on the main path.  

Okay, enough bitching... 

I real reason for this post is for the things I do love about spring time.

They are fruity and cold- a perfect afternoon snack.

{Flowers}

There are so many different beautiful flowers.  

Peonies are my favorite!

They don't actually bloom till May but I just love them!

Finally an excuse to wear your favorite shades!

{Light Scarves}

It's too cold in Oregon to wear them in the winter

but now it is the perfect time of year.

Over Break

I hate how long it takes me to get anything done.  

Not to mention how forgetful I am.  

Over spring break I forgot my camera cord to upload photos 

so I couldn't blog about anything I did over break.  

No that I'm back in the swing of things I able to share some of the things I did.

One Sunday, Derek and I spent the day with our good friends Adam and Lindsay.  

They live up in Portland and we hardly ever get to see them so it was a treat! 

We went to OMSI {Oregon Museum of Science and Industry}

and out to lunch at the Widmer Brewery.  

We got to see a real mummy and I even got to pet a snake.  

It was tons of fun and I always enjoying being able to see them.

ReVamp

I'm so proud to finally be able to show off pictures of my new living room!  

My father, roommate, and I spent a great deal of finals week redoing my living room.  

We painted the walls, rearranged a few things and put up new art.  

I'm so excited about how it turned out.  

My favorite part is the wall with all the frames on it.  

I spent a total of twenty-nine dollars on it! 

I got the mismatched frames from Goodwill {total of twenty-two dollars} 

and used black spray paint, from a previous project, to paint them black.  

Then I went to Craft Warehouse and got different scrapbooking paper to fill the frames.  

The other odds and ends where just laying around my parents house. 

{My mom has tons and tons of little things, and said she wouldn't miss a few.} 

I then marked off an area on my wall and filled it with different frames and things.

I love the way it all turned out and looks great in my new living space.

pink, pink, and more pink

Even though the weather is not looking much like spring, 

I am loving that bright pink is being seen everywhere.  

Pink is one of my favorite colors and I'm so excited to see it popping up.  

Here are my favorite pink things that are showing up.

Pink lipstick.  

If you can't tell I am obsessing over bright pink lips.  

I love that it can add a little to any outfit.

This cardigan from {free people} is cute. 

It is not super bold but the little details on the 

sleeves and bottom allow it to stand out.

I love this button up from {jcrew}.  

It can be paired with so many different things 

and can be dressed up or down. 

I love how versatile it is.

So I know these {jcrew} shorts are not bright pink 

but they are just too cute not to put up. 

Pairing these shorts with a cute sweater can 

give a relaxed but polished look.

Spring Break

This past week has flown by without even realizing it.  I have been so busy redoing my apartment

(I'll post pictures when I'm done) 

and enjoying Spring Break that I realized I haven't done a post in over a week.

Online Shopping

I am always so envious of those who have time to online shop. 

I am always late and behind on what I want to do so time that I could online shop 

always seems to go to something else.  

Well now that it is finals week and I have only one final at the end of the week

I spent much of the day looking. 

Now I remember why I do not allow myself time to shop!  

I love so many things!
